You need to define exactly what you want from your business. It needs to be measurable and achievable. It should be something that anyone can understand and something that you would be happy to tell your partner about. You need to be able to set realistic deadlines for each milestone and stick to them, so you can see where you are against your plan. You'll need to be able to see the vision for your business and know how far you've come. If you can't do this, you won't be able to keep going when things get tough.

In order to make sure that you stay on track with your business, it’s important to make sure that you set a goal that is achievable within time frames.
